The Children of Africa Leadership and Values Development Initiative (CALDEV) is a dynamic, youth-focused Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to transforming the lives of children and adolescents across Africa. Established in 2015 and officially incorporated in 2016, CALDEV was born out of a deep-seated conviction that every child—regardless of their background or socio-economic status—deserves the opportunity to thrive, lead, and reach their fullest potential.
At the heart of CALDEV’s mission lies a commitment to advancing children’s welfare, advocating for their rights, and cultivating a generation of ethical and visionary leaders. We recognize that many African children face systemic challenges—ranging from poor access to quality education and leadership opportunities to socio-cultural barriers and neglect. In response, CALDEV operates as a catalyst for change, working actively to bridge gaps in education, leadership training, and character development.
